I do IF and I workout 3-4 times a week, I do a mix of cardio and strength training. I hit a plateau last summer. I gained about 30 pounds and I was working out like 6 days a week and nothing…. so I incorporated more lifting and I switched from 16:8 IF everyday to 20:4 IF 4 days a week. After I changed my IF hours and began lifting is when I saw my weight drop anddd I stopped working out like crazy which just helped me mentally adjust my goals and expectations.
